Botaira Food Fact

Traditional Lovo

A lovo is an underground oven in which an entire feast is cooked over hot rocks while buried in earth. It’s also called an umu in Tonga or a hangi in New Zealand.

On Wednesday and Saturday nights Botaira Resort has a lovo containing beef, pork, lamb, fish, chicken and vegetables - this is a smorgasbord you do not want to miss!
